I'm looking for some texts related to engineering of particle accelerators.
Found some texts which focus on the physics (which admittedly are beyond my skill level), however I need to focus more on the actual engineering of particle accelerators.
The type of accelerator is not so important (I could choose any). More important are questions such as, for design, construction, maintenance:
- who is involved? what engineers are required?
- responsibilities
- costs
- where to source components?
- safety
- and probably many other factors I haven't considered
Websites are ok for general reading, but I'd prefer published or peer reviewed works (costs may need to get from unpublished sources).
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!
