I'm evaluating the Frequency Response and subsequently Step Response of a bandpass filter.
Is the frequency response going to be different for an active bandpass filter from a passive bandpass filter?

I've plotted the frequency response using LTspice with the following setup:

Small signal AC analysis:
AC amplitude: 15 V

Simulation Command:
Type of sweep: Octave
Number of points per octave: 30
Start frequency: 1
Stop frequency: 300

My hand calculations suggest the max frequency should be about 40 kHz.
However, using the -3dB rule, the max frequency ends up on 100 kHz.

Any suggestions?
