How do you score on the following test?
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm

Apparently I am the most rare of all the types: http://www.infj.org/public/infjcharacter.html" , the weird thing is that the other week someone already came to that conclusion

Just kidding Radou.

Yeah, I guess I must have entered *the* combination of answers so the program refused to even run the analysis on me. :tongue2:

Didn't we do this once before, and it turned out a large amount of PFers were INTJ?
(I'm one, also)

Once? I think there's a personality test at least every two weeks here, in average. And all of them are the same.

Btw, I noticed some questions being almost totally equivelant.

Really? All the lawyers I know who are any good at it are fairly extroverted. I don't think someone who is introverted could handle all the client contact necessary.

INTP

Probably because they're questions people will often waffle on, so if you split the answers it means you don't lean one way or the other as often

INTJ... for the 3rd time. I did this with someone who (I assume) had training to administer this test, she was a career counselor at my old university. Apparently the person who takes the test isn't supposed to be shown the strength of the preferences. & they ARE preferences, meaning just like someone who writes right-handed doesn't mean that they're not capable of writing left-handed, the 4 letters is a preference. It doesn't mean a person with (for example) a T preference doesn't have feelings at all or can't use their feelings to make a decision. It's a preference. When I did the test the 1st time my I & N were extreme, the J was moderate and the T was very weak. When I did the test in Keirsey's Please Understand Me II, my I, T & J were extreme & the N was weak. This time the I, N & T were extreme (all 100%) and my J was weak. I bet most of the people who post here are NTs, which Keirsey calls 'rationals'. I don't know whether or not I'm in good company now since people like Isaac Newton, Dwight Eisenhower, Stephen Hawking, Paul Dirac, Edwin Moses & (probably) Hilbert were all INTJs but on the other hand so are some of the people on this board...

Well at "44%"(whatever that means), I guess I am supposedly only somewhat introverted  . I would agree with the test, I am introverted. I also agree with you Moonbear, I don't think I would want to deal with all the networking required to be a successful lawyer. Thankfully I don't have any interest in law (unless it is of the scientific sort)

I got ENTJ with the following percentages: 33 25 50 22.

edit... The careers they chose for me are quite in-line with what I have thought about doing over the years.

I don't know jack about this personality assessment thing, but for employment pre-screening, we used to rig the tests to ask similar questions in a variety of ways to try and catch people in lies.

here are some MBTI prayers I found recently:

ISTJ - Lord, help me to relax about insignificant details beginning tomorrow at 11:41.23 am e.s.t.
ISTP - God, help me to consider people's feelings, even if most of them ARE hypersensitive.
ESTP - God, help me to take responsibility for my own actions, even though they're usually NOT my fault.
ESTJ - God, help me to not try to RUN everything. But, if You need some help, just ask.
ISFJ - Lord, help me to be more laid back and help me to do it EXACTLY right.
ISFP - Lord, help me to stand up for my rights (if you don't mind my asking).
ESFP - God, help me to take things more seriously, especially parties and dancing.
ESFJ - God, give me patience, and I mean right NOW.
INFJ - Lord, help me not be a perfectionist. (did I spell that correctly?)
INFP - God, help me to finish everything I sta...
ENFP - God,help me to keep my mind on one th-Look a bird- ing at a time.
ENFJ - God help me to do only what I can and trust you for the rest. Do you mind putting that in writing?
INTJ - Lord, keep me open to others' ideas, WRONG though they may be.
INTP - Lord, help me be less independent, but let me do it my way.
ENTP - Lord, help me follow established procedures today. On second thought, I'll settle for a few minutes.
ENTJ - Lord, help me slow downandnotrushthroughwatIdo
~*~ Amen ~*~

I also came back INTJ (my guess is a lot of people here would) with a lawyer recommendation. My personal opinion about the whole client contact, and even the charisma necessary to sway a jury are not a problem. I know how to talk to people, how to relate to people, how to convince people, how to entertain people, and all of that. It's easy to do if it's something that needs to be for some end other than itself. I just don't enjoy social contact as an end in itself. I don't go out of my way to talk to people just for the hell of it, which makes me an introvert, but it doesn't mean I can't handle lots of contact with others, even gracefully.

I should go into management or politics according to this test. Actually, that's not so far off from my "more realistic" goals in life.
