Find the Perfect Physics Reference for SAT Subject Test

Hi,

I am looking for a all-time reference physics book, which will cover the SAT Physics Subject Test. I want a book that will give me a general understanding of Physics(Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves and Optics, heat and Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, etc.)

halliday & resnick used to be a high-quality standard text for advanced high school or first-year college. I have no idea if it is still used, or if others have taken its place. I still look at mine from time to time (35 years later).

I would recommend "Cracking the SAT Physics Subject Test" by The Princeton Review. This book covers all the major topics in physics, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves and optics, heat and thermodynamics, and modern physics. It also includes practice questions and strategies for tackling the SAT Physics Subject Test. Additionally, "The Official SAT Subject Test in Physics Study Guide" by The College Board is another excellent resource that covers all the content and format of the test.
