Heh, the first thing I thought about when I read it this morning, was posting it here. This should be required reading for all new posters, I suggest including it in the forum rules which must be accepted when signing up.

I appreciate xkcd's use of humor to convey important guidelines for personal protective equipment. I understand the importance of following proper safety protocols to protect ourselves and those around us. The comic's message is a great reminder to always wear the appropriate gear and take necessary precautions in any scientific setting. Let's all take a cue from xkcd and make safety a top priority in our work.
