I need to find a shunt resistor (basically a low resistance resistor), that can handle 20-25 W, and is less than 1ohm resistance. Not really sure how to find some.. can anyone give suggestions?

A high power shunt resistor is a type of resistor that is capable of handling large amounts of power. It is important because it allows for accurate measurement of high currents in electrical circuits without causing damage to the measuring equipment.
Choosing the right high power shunt resistor depends on several factors, such as the maximum current, power rating, and resistance value required for your application. It is important to consult with a specialist or refer to the datasheet of the resistor to ensure it meets the specifications of your circuit.
High power shunt resistors can be purchased from electronic component suppliers, online retailers, and specialized resistor manufacturers. It is important to research and compare different options to find the best quality and value for your needs.
The installation process for a high power shunt resistor will vary depending on the specific circuit and components involved. It is recommended to consult with a professional or refer to the manufacturer's instructions for proper installation to avoid damaging the resistor or the circuit.
High power shunt resistors are commonly used in power supplies, motor controllers, battery management systems, and other high current applications. They are also used in electronic testing and measurement equipment to accurately measure large currents without causing damage to the equipment.
