Word "retreat" was never used until 2006, when it appeared 7 times in all parts of the speech.

Word "think" was used 4 times in seven years; "trust", 7; "believe", 17. "hope", 53.

Hmm, never used the word "gay" or "homosexual". "Black" appears three times, all in the form of "blackmail". "Muslim" didn't appear until 2007, though Islam appeared 9 times (5 in 2002). "Diplomacy" wasn't used until 2004. "stay the course", interestingly, was never used. "Retreat" first appeared in 2006 (6 times). "smart" never appears. "tax" appears a round 100 times (dipping to a low of 7 in 2002).

never used "katrina" nor "hurricane". "terrorist" 76. "terror", 154, contasted with "caution", 0. "health", 78, oddly the 2004 election year peak of 18 being tied again in 2007.
