Hi, is anyone aware of good EE internship programs? I'm not very picky as to what field, but anyone care to share experiences with companies they've worked for or know someone who works there?

Not to steal from your original intent, but also could someone suggest good internships for sophomores (ie: the fall after the internship I'll go in as a junior.. so technically i'd start as a junior) with a GPA of around 3.82 and previous experience?

I highly recommend looking into internships offered by major companies in the field of electrical engineering. Some well-known companies that offer EE internships for sophomores include Intel, General Electric, and Texas Instruments. These internships provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the latest technologies in the industry.

Additionally, I suggest looking into internships offered by government agencies such as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. These internships offer opportunities to work on cutting-edge research projects and gain valuable skills in the field of EE.

Another great option is to apply for internships at research institutions such as universities or national labs. These internships offer a unique opportunity to work alongside top scientists and researchers and gain hands-on experience in a research setting.

I also recommend networking with professionals in the field of EE and asking for recommendations or referrals for internship opportunities. Many companies and organizations offer internships that may not be widely advertised, so networking can be a great way to find these opportunities.

Overall, it is important to research and apply to a variety of internship programs to increase your chances of securing a position. The experience gained through internships can greatly benefit your future career in electrical engineering. Good luck in your search!
