I just checked lecture 26 Venus, http://www.astro.lsa.umich.edu/users/cowley/lecture26/
which is my pet planet. But I think the current scholar view is somewhat different from the lesson, especially pertaining the water and the Urey reactions.

I'm not impressed, I'm afraid.

Thank you for sharing these interesting lectures from UMich! It's always fascinating to learn more about our own planet and its relationship with the rest of the universe. The topics covered in these lectures, such as Earth structure, the moon, thermodynamics, and the formation of the solar system, are all incredibly important in understanding the world we live in.
