Homework Statement



Droplets of water may sometimes be seen on the margins of the leaves of a banana plant, growing in wet soil, in tthe mornings. Are these dew drops? Comment on you answer.

These can be either dew drops or water exuded by guttation. what do you think?

on the margin of the leaf , there are small porous structures called HYDATHODES, during guttation , due to excess pressure, the water droplets come out of those HYDATHODES. they are not dew drops.
