I'm currently trying to apply for chemical engineering, but is afraid that the personal statement done might be too towards the theoretical side of sciences, with not much practicality shown upon the statement.

I want to study chemical engineering because of interest in calculus along with chemistry.

Can anybody help?

Additionally, you can also mention any specific areas of chemical engineering that you are passionate about and how you envision applying your skills in those areas. This will show your enthusiasm and understanding of the practical applications of the subject.

It's also important to highlight your transferable skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork, as these are crucial in the field of chemical engineering.

Lastly, make sure to proofread your personal statement and have someone else read it as well to ensure it is clear, concise, and effectively conveys your passion for chemical engineering.

I hope this helps and best of luck with your application!
