In summary, the conversation revolves around a high school physics student who owns a textbook on mechanics by Kleppner and Kolenkow. While the student finds the book to be great, they are frustrated by the fact that there are no answer keys provided for the exercise problems. However, the other person in the conversation points out that having solutions may not always be helpful as it can lead to relying on the answers instead of understanding the method. They suggest focusing on the method used or asking the teacher for guidance.

Sometimes having solutions aren't the best thing, because people tend to use the answer to figure out what to do. Even when you have answers, you should do the question, get the answer you think and then only look at the answer.

Focus on the method used, or ask your teacher what method to use for a question.

Hello! I am glad to hear that you are using the Kleppner and Kolenkow textbook for your high school physics studies. It is a highly respected and comprehensive book for mechanics. I understand your frustration with not having access to answers for the exercise problems. Unfortunately, the textbook does not have a separate solutions book. However, there are several options you can explore to find answers to the exercise problems.

Firstly, you can try reaching out to your physics teacher or school to see if they have access to the solutions for the book. They may be able to provide you with the answers or point you to a resource where you can find them.

Additionally, there are many online forums and communities where students and teachers discuss and share solutions to physics problems. You can try searching for the specific exercise problem on these platforms to see if someone has already solved it and posted the answer.

Another option is to reach out to the authors of the book directly. They may be able to provide you with the solutions or guide you to a resource where you can find them.

I know it can be frustrating not having access to solutions, but remember that the process of solving problems and checking your answers is an essential part of learning. Keep practicing and seeking help when needed, and I am sure you will excel in mechanics. Best of luck!
