Dryness Fraction


Do all steam have dryness fraction or only wet steam?

Saturated water (water at boiling point) has a dryness fraction = 0
Wet steam has a dryness fraction anywhere between 0 - 1
Dry saturated steam has a dryness fraction of 1
Superheated steam (steam at a higher temperature for its saturation pressure) has a dryness fraction of 1
