In summary: KZOAFNri0hM In summary, SW provides a summary of the content of the conversation, which includes discussions of favorite Led Zeppelin songs, whether or not those songs are covers, the appropriateness of a Led Zeppelin haters thread, and whether or not there should be a thread for just Led Zeppelin music.
I'm more into the early Zep songs i.e. the ones from Zep I, Zep II, and Zep III. Their later songs were great but their earlier songs were way heavier.

So I'm doin' what I'm doin' the other day and Stairway to Heaven comes on or is just "stairway" sufficient for affectionados? I'm tryin' to focus on what I'm doin' and for just a few seconds, feelings of the 70's are awakened in my head.
Interesting to experience experimentally, how music can stimulate neural circuits to simulate the past in some as-yet-not-too-well-understood kind of way.
Anyways, that's what Zeppelin did for me the other day.

I don't listen to much Led Zeppelin any more, but I really like this one. Easily their best song (and Page's best solo):

Think these two songs are their weirdest/most offbeat:
D'yer Mak'er:
Led Zeppelin Goes Ska/Reggae

Carouselambra:
Led Zeppelin Goes Prog

Can't we change the subject of this thread to 70's hard rock/prog rock?
