what creates magnetic fields, magnetic poles or currents? are those theories equivalent mathematically? i read in Griffiths currents are the sole source of magnetic fields but in another book it said those theories are equivalent. has it been proved the theory of magnetic poles is wrong/ or is it just still a hypothesis?
