In summary, the conversation is about someone asking if it is possible to paint the bluish leather material above the middle of their Nike Air Force 1's to match the rest of the shoe. They are given the suggestion to take them to a shoe repair shop or to purchase leather shoe paint online.

Hi all, I am wondering, I have a new pair of Nike Air Force 1's http://www.kicks4less.com/images/AF1157.jpg {these are not the same exact color, my blue is navy blue but u get the point) , I do not like the color of the part above the middle of my foot, where it is like bluish. It is like a leather kind of material, I was wondering, is it possible for me to paint it white? So if I use it it won't peel off and show the blue color at the creases when I walk? If so, what type of paint do I use, thanks in advance.

I would suggest you take them to a shoe repair shop and ask to have them painted.

If you are determined to do it yourself, here are a couple of sites to buy leather shoe paint.

Wow Thanks evo, now I know what to do.

1. How do I prep my Nike Air Force 1's for painting?

The first step in painting your Nike Air Force 1's is to clean them thoroughly. Use a mild soap and water to remove any dirt or debris from the surface of the shoes. You can also use rubbing alcohol to remove any stubborn stains. Once the shoes are clean, use painter's tape to cover any areas you do not want to paint, such as the soles or laces.

2. What type of paint should I use to paint my Nike Air Force 1's?

The best type of paint to use on Nike Air Force 1's is acrylic paint. It is durable, easy to work with, and comes in a variety of colors. Make sure to choose a high-quality brand for the best results.

3. Do I need to prime my Nike Air Force 1's before painting?

Yes, it is recommended to prime your Nike Air Force 1's before painting them. This will help the paint adhere better to the surface of the shoes and prevent it from cracking or peeling over time. Use a white or light-colored primer for best results.

4. Can I use a paintbrush or should I use a spray paint?

It is possible to use both a paintbrush or spray paint to paint your Nike Air Force 1's. However, using a paintbrush allows for more control and precision, while spray paint may be easier for covering larger areas. Experiment with both to see which method works best for you.

5. How can I protect my painted Nike Air Force 1's from damage?

To protect your painted Nike Air Force 1's, you can use a sealant spray specifically designed for shoes. This will help to seal the paint and make it more resistant to scuffs and scratches. Make sure to follow the instructions on the sealant spray carefully for best results.
