Like I said in the original thread it was taken from a hotel window -- more specifically, me hanging out of the hotel window, with the camera on a mini tripod against the window, so it didn't shake while the exposure took place :biggrin:

(The building in the back is the Montparnasse tower -- which is probably the highest in Paris -- and the street is where all the Leftbank guys hung out.)
