How many VDC will 120VAC support?
I am looking to install 6 48VDC power supplies and I am curious as to whether or not I can operate all 6 power supplies off the same 120VAC source. I am not sure if 120VAC means that I can only operate a max of 120VDC.

It depends on the current rating of your 120V sockets as well as the fuse. If your 6 48VDC power supplies draws current anywhere near to these ratings, then you are going to have fire safety issues.
