Why is My PM Box Always Empty?

In summary: I could taste the lemon peel.This recipe is from the time of June Cleaver housewives, "just add water" became popular after women started working.My mom and her mom used to make everything from scratch. I was expected to help, so I got jobs like sifting flowing (very physical job requiring strong hands) and mixing the ingredients. I like homemade pie crusts.

It's a painting by John William Waterhouse titled "The Lady of Shalott"

I find the following lines by Tennyson quite descriptive of Evo:

There she watches by night and day
A magic website with persons gay.
She has heard a whisper say,
A curse is on her if she stay
To look into her mailbox.

Cherry Winks, they're the girl's favorite. They're really yummy. They have pecans, dates & maraschino cherries and rolled in crushed corn flakes.

This recipe has been around since I was little, and it's great to see that it's popular on the internet.

Cherry Winks

INGREDIENTS:

* 3/4 cup shortening
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 2 tablespoons milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup chopped pecans
* 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
* 1/3 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
* 2 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
* 10 maraschino cherries, quartered

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheets.
2. Cream the shortening with the sugar. Blend in the eggs, milk and vanilla.
3. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chopped pecans, chopped dates and 1/3 cup maraschino cherries.
4. Shape teaspoonful sized chunks of dough into balls. Roll each ball in the crushed corn flakes. Place balls on the prepared baking sheets and top each cookie with 1/4 maraschino cherry.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool completely before storing in airtight containers. Makes 5 dozen.

My mom and her mom used to make everything from scratch. I was expected to help, so I got jobs like sifting flowing (very physical job requiring strong hands) and mixing the ingredients. I like homemade pie crusts. The best recipe was lemon meringue pie. I have never had a prepared lemon pie that was as good as my mom's.

Her meat pies and pasties were excellent! :tongue2:

The Lady in her pot doth stir
a shortened cup of sugar.
2 eggs, a cup of chopped tucans
are in her brew included.

But many think the lady fair
is just a tad deluded:

Why didn't she just add the water?

funny world! some people are complaining why their inbox is full and someone like me even has no pm in inbox.:cry:

1. Why is my PM box always empty?

There could be several reasons why your PM box is always empty. It could be because you have not received any new messages, or because your messages are being filtered into a different folder. It is also possible that there is a technical issue with your PM box or with the messaging system itself.

2. Is there something wrong with my account if my PM box is always empty?

Not necessarily. As mentioned before, there could be several reasons why your PM box is empty. However, if you are consistently not receiving any messages, it is best to check with the messaging system's support team to rule out any technical issues.

3. How can I make sure my PM box is not empty?

One way to ensure your PM box is not empty is to actively engage with other users and initiate conversations. You can also check your PM box regularly and respond to any messages you receive. Additionally, make sure your messaging settings are not set to automatically delete messages.

4. Can I receive notifications when I have a new message in my PM box?

Yes, most messaging systems have the option to enable notifications for new messages. Check your messaging settings to see if this feature is available and how to turn it on.

5. Why is my PM box always empty even though I have received messages before?

If you have previously received messages in your PM box but are now experiencing emptiness, it is possible that the messages were deleted or moved to a different folder. Check your message history or search for specific messages to see if they are still in your account.
