Energy from permanent magnets alone

In summary, permanent magnets cannot generate energy on their own and can only convert energy from one form to another. It is not possible to create a perpetual motion machine using only permanent magnets, as it would violate the laws of thermodynamics. The principle behind using permanent magnets for energy generation is electromagnetic induction. While the energy generated by permanent magnets can technically be used to power a home, multiple magnets and other components are needed to produce a significant amount of energy. The concept of "energy from permanent magnets alone" is a myth and has not been successfully demonstrated. All energy generation systems require an external source of energy to function.

Hi all,

i saw many times while browsing that persons like howard johnson, tom beardson, paul monus, etc., are informing themselves that they have invented motors that run only based on the stored energy of the permanent magnets... are they really having that machines..? if yes, i think that it will definatly revoltunize the energy sector of the world..? why don't they make "BIG" business out of it.?
ARE THEY REALLY HAVING THAT..?

Crackpots are crackpots and I think your instincts are telling you that if their ideas worked, we'd already all be using their devices.

I can say that there is currently no scientific evidence to support the claim that permanent magnets alone can generate energy. While there are certainly advancements in the field of magnetic energy and its potential uses, the idea that a motor can run solely on the stored energy of permanent magnets is not supported by the laws of physics.

It is important to approach these claims with a critical eye and consider the source of the information. Without proper testing and validation, it is unlikely that these individuals have truly invented such a revolutionary technology. Additionally, if they did have a working model, it is likely that they would be able to secure significant funding and make a larger impact in the energy sector.

In the field of science, it is always important to question and verify claims before accepting them as fact. While the idea of a motor powered solely by permanent magnets is intriguing, it is important to approach it with a healthy dose of skepticism until it can be scientifically proven.

1. Can permanent magnets generate energy on their own?

No, permanent magnets alone cannot generate energy. They can only convert energy from one form to another. In order to create energy, a magnet must be in motion relative to another object, such as a coil of wire, to induce an electric current.

2. Is it possible to create a perpetual motion machine using permanent magnets?

No, it is not possible to create a perpetual motion machine using only permanent magnets. The laws of thermodynamics state that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted from one form to another. A perpetual motion machine, which operates without any external energy input, would violate this law.

3. What is the principle behind using permanent magnets for energy generation?

The principle behind using permanent magnets for energy generation is electromagnetic induction. When a magnet moves relative to a conductor, it creates a changing magnetic field which induces an electric current in the conductor. This current can then be harnessed as usable energy.

4. Can the energy generated by permanent magnets be used to power a home?

Yes, the energy generated by permanent magnets can technically be used to power a home. However, the amount of energy produced by a single permanent magnet is very small and not enough to power a home. Multiple magnets, along with other components such as coils and generators, would be needed to generate a significant amount of energy.

5. Are there any successful examples of energy generation using only permanent magnets?

No, there are no successful examples of energy generation using only permanent magnets. The concept of "energy from permanent magnets alone" is a popular myth and has been debunked by numerous scientific studies. All energy generation systems require an external source of energy, such as fuel or sunlight, to function.
