The view from my window this morning, taxiing just after landing... During the landing, I couldn't see the runaway's pavement. The snow-covered runway is the faint line in the background.

Damn GNW! I spent a week there during lake-effect snow days about a decade ago. The snow wasn't close to that deep, but it was VERY impressive, and there was often very little scenery to be seen from the road, apart from the cooling towers at the nuke plant.
