When we derive the Bethe-Salpeter equation, we have the relations of mass of constitute m, transverse momentum, q-hat and energy ω for equal mass constitute as
ω^{2}=m^{2}+(q-hat)^{2}. What is the relations of ω,m and q-hat for low energy or long distance or low momentum? Can we say q-hat≈m?

Thank you for taking time to help me!
