It seems censorship exists in this forum since we can't talk about climate change. This is simply ridiculous.

The policy is very clear, you can find other places on the web to discuss the topic.

What is climate change?

Climate change refers to the long-term alteration of global and regional weather patterns, including average temperature and precipitation, due to increased levels of greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere. These changes have significant impacts on the environment, ecosystems, and human societies.

Why can't we talk about climate change?

There are a few reasons why individuals and organizations may avoid discussing climate change. Some may deny its existence or downplay its severity due to political or economic interests. Others may feel overwhelmed or powerless in the face of such a complex and urgent issue. Additionally, discussing climate change can be uncomfortable or divisive, making it a challenging topic to address.

Is climate change really happening?

Yes, climate change is a scientifically proven phenomenon. The vast majority of climate scientists agree that the Earth's climate is changing, and the evidence is abundant and clear. This includes rising global temperatures, melting polar ice caps, and more frequent extreme weather events.

What are the consequences of climate change?

The consequences of climate change are wide-ranging and severe. They include rising sea levels and coastal flooding, more frequent and intense heat waves, droughts, and wildfires, disruptions to agriculture and food supplies, loss of biodiversity, and increased health risks. These impacts will have significant economic, social, and environmental repercussions.

What can we do about climate change?

There is no single solution to climate change, but there are many actions individuals, communities, and governments can take to mitigate and adapt to its effects. These include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, transitioning to renewable energy sources, conserving natural resources, and implementing sustainable practices in our daily lives. It will take a collective effort to address climate change effectively.
