Criticism of small "bridge" design welcome.

The grass is greener where you are! The ground here is frozen, though the grass was green a couple of weeks ago, S.E. PA.

I should have taken pictures also, will do so this week. The "bridge" at my site won't need to carry bikers as they are prohibited. I scouted near the site and found many big stones that would likely not go very far in flood conditions and would make nice stepping stones, easily moved with a wheel-barrow.

As you can see there is some flooding, due to rain and meltwater at the moment since the park is in the valley. There is still snow up on Exmoor (SW UK) nearby.

Longrun Meadow is Taunton's new green space offering 65 acres of 'rural' landscape as a countryside park. Just a short walk from the town centre, it opened to the public on 28 August 2010.

Taunton was the home and workplace (STC semiconductors, now GE semiconductors) of the late John Linsley-Hood whom many will know from his work in electronic engineering.
However I was trying to avoid wandering off topic.
