In summary, there are several free differentiation programs available online, such as Khan Academy, Math-Drills, and Math-Aids. These programs offer a variety of resources, including practice problems, videos, and interactive activities, to help students improve their understanding and skills in differentiation. Additionally, many universities and educational institutions offer free online courses on differentiation, which can provide a more in-depth and structured learning experience. It is important to carefully research and compare different programs to find the one that best fits your learning needs and goals.

Do you know of any free differentiation programme, online or for downloading?

For integration I've found this one: http://integrals.wolfram.com/index.jsp

www.calc101.com has integrals, derivative, polynomial division, partial fractions, graphs and many other things, including tutorials on how to do them.

You can actually use this one for differentiating. Type D[f,y] into the box, where f is the function you want to differentiate with respect to y. You'll get the answer multiplied by x.

Example: D[Exp[y^2],y] -> 2 y Exp[y^2] x, so the derivative is 2 y Exp[y^2].

1. What is a free derivation programme?

A free derivation programme is a computer software that allows users to create and manipulate mathematical equations and expressions. It is designed to aid in the understanding and solving of complex mathematical problems.

2. How does a free derivation programme work?

A free derivation programme uses algorithms and mathematical rules to process and manipulate equations and expressions. It can perform operations such as differentiation, integration, and simplification.

3. Is a free derivation programme better than using pen and paper?

It depends on personal preference and the complexity of the mathematical problem. A free derivation programme can provide faster and more accurate results, but some people may prefer the traditional method of solving equations by hand.

4. Are there any limitations to using a free derivation programme?

Like any computer software, a free derivation programme may have limitations in terms of the types of equations it can handle or the complexity of the problems it can solve. It is important to check the capabilities of the programme before use.

5. Can a free derivation programme be used for educational purposes?

Yes, many free derivation programmes are designed for educational use. They can be used as a tool for learning mathematical concepts and practicing solving equations. However, it is important to check the usage policies and make sure the programme is appropriately credited.
