In essence how does time travel relate to space?

So basically if you were on Mars, you cool look back and see yourself traveling to mars?

With the right way of time travel (if this is possible), this would be possible.

If we could just figure out the "right way".

I'm confused into how this theoritically would be possible?

If you assume FTL travel and applied your lorentz transformations you would find that you arrived at your destination before you actually left and you can visualize this better if you plot it on a space - time diagram. It is however a violation of causality.

isnt causality actually brought down by quantum entanglement which effect its been verified to be instantaneous happening cause and effect at the same time?
