What the heck?

Is anything going to change about these forums due to the recent sell out? Is it still going to be a great hang-out spot for physics nerds like myself, or is it going to become some bullcrap preaching forum for Tom Cruise and his minions?

I cannot comment on the specific changes that may occur in these forums due to the recent sell out. However, I can assure you that the fundamentals of physics and the community of physics enthusiasts will not change. Physics is a field driven by evidence and scientific inquiry, and that will not be affected by any external factors. These forums will continue to be a great platform for discussing and learning about physics, and I do not believe it will become a "preaching forum" for any individual or group. The focus will still be on the pursuit of knowledge and understanding in the realm of physics. So, I encourage you to continue engaging in discussions and sharing your passion for physics in these forums.

I cannot speak for the specific forums in question. However, I can say that change is a constant in the world of science and technology. While it may be unsettling at times, it is often necessary for progress and growth. It is important to keep an open mind and adapt to new developments, while also staying true to the core principles and values of the community. Ultimately, the success of any forum or community depends on the active participation and contributions of its members. So as long as there are passionate and dedicated physics nerds like yourself, I believe the forums will continue to be a great place for discussions and learning.
