computation of this integral
I am looking for a software that can compute the following integral
[itex] ∫_0^1f(x)\phi(2^jx-k)dx. [/itex] [itex]\phi(x) [/itex] is scaling function of a wavelet family (especially Daubechies), j and k are scaling and translation parameters respectively. |

Basically any software that can do numerics for you, e.g. Wolfram Mathematica, Matlab, or you can write a C code as well (using GSL).

http://reference.wolfram.com/mathema.../Wavelets.html to translate what you are interested in into one or two simple concrete examples then we can try it and see if the results will be in a form you can use. |
