Fortran Operation system error

In summary, Fortran Operation system error refers to an error in the Fortran programming language caused by unexpected problems in the operating system. To fix this error, one should carefully review their code, update their compiler, and seek technical assistance if needed. While these errors cannot physically damage a computer, they can cause program crashes and data loss. To prevent them, one can regularly update their code and compiler, ensure system compatibility, and have backups of their code.

I am getting the following error when i try to run my program:

Code:
Operating system error: Cannot allocate memory
 Allocation would exceed memory limit

Any thoughts about that this is and maybe any suggestions about how to resolve the issue??

It looks like your program is trying to take more memory than your computer has, or you've got some sort of mistake in your program. Either way, it's like asking your doctor to examine you from another room while blindfolded.

If you want more help, post your program.
