Can I Get Into a US Graduate Program with a Three-Year B.Sc in Physics?

In summary, the speaker has recently completed a 3-year B.Sc Physics degree and is interested in joining a graduate program in the US. However, they have heard that a 4-year undergraduate program is typically required for admission. They are wondering if taking the GRE Physics and getting good scores could increase their chances of admission, or if they should complete a Masters in physics in their home country and then apply for a MS program in the US. The speaker is from Nepal, which is close to India, and has heard that some European students with 3-year BSc degrees have been admitted to their physics department, but typically students from India must have a Masters degree before applying.

I have finished my B.Sc Physics recently and want to join graduate program in US. However the problem is my B.Sc course was of three years and I have heard that it requires 4 years undergraduate program to join graduate program in US. So,my question is if I take GRE Physics and secure good marks , do I have good possibility to get admitted in graduate program in US.Or, should I finish my Masters in physics here and apply for the MS in US.

Which country did you get your BSc from? My physics department has admitted a few European students with a 3-year BSc, but usually requires that students from India earn a masters in their own country before applying for one in ours.
