In summary: I have summarized the conversation, in summary, the group discussed their favorite types of shoes and shared opinions on different styles. Some preferred comfortable and practical shoes while others enjoyed dressing up and wearing high heels. They also talked about the cost and durability of shoes, as well as sharing humorous anecdotes about their shoe preferences.

What are your favourite pair of shoes? What are the coolest shoes you've ever seen? Do you care about shoes at all? Does someone spend all of your money on shoes? Tell us all about it...

Personally I usually just where black leather boots. It's hard to find normal looking boots anymore outside of military surplus. Currently I have a pair of Sketchers boots that are as plain looking as I could find.
For dress shoes I love wingtips. I have been wanting to find a nice pair of black and whites for years now. Ones like this...

The coolest pair of shoes I have ever seen were ones that Ryan Stiles wore on Whose Line Is It Anyway. They were black and whites like the ones above except the white portion trailed back in the shape of a lick of flame.

Those are cool.

I've never gotten into shoes. I go for comfort. The Child of Evo recently talked me into buying a beautiful pair of shoes. I can't walk in them. :frown:

I used to have a pair of these that I wore with everything:

Sure do miss 'em!

I just wear Sketchers sneakers. They're black, possibly dark blue, with the typical white strip along the side. I love boots though, I need to get a pair.

I don't wear shoes unless I have to. I have extremely wide feet and almost never find shoes that fit.

If you are looking for the coolest shoes ever made though, black Chuck Taylor All-Stars.

Here are some sexy lady's shoes from the same company as the B&Ws...

So is that all you have to say about SHOES ladies?!

I have seen some of the ugliest shoes in the world in stores recently. I have no idea how anyone could have though making them was a good idea let alone ordering some to put in a store.

And the ones people wear! Just look at these...

I don't like shoes. For running shoes (sneakers), I get the cheap stuff at K-mart or Target. I try not to spend more than $14.00.

I tend to wear the same pair of dress shoes - for years. When I was in junior high and high school, I wore desert boots or sneakers until I wore a hole in the sole and the seams had broken open.

I go barefoot as much as possible. My feet are wider than standard (EE), so most shoes feel uncomfortable. I do wear sandals occasionally.

I do have a pair of steel-toed work boots for gardening, yardwork and construction work/home repair.

Oh yes. I had a pair of Chucks once. They were all black including the soles, laces, and everything. Most people didn't even realize they made them that way.

Well, for one, the pair on the right has high heels. I think high heels are stupid and the higher the stupider. Second, they are hard leather, and probably have hard soles. Thirdly, they look like they would crush any foot.

I prefer bare feet, and if not that sandals or moccasins.

Basically, I have a strong aversion to dressing up. I will wear a tie, but grudgingly. Same goes for wearing suits.

My shoes always end up being expensive becaus of my wide feet...the only places that I find them are Famous Footwear(Which never last me longer than a month) or Nordstrom's, so we end up going to Nordstrom's and getting some expensive shoes...these ones,(which now have dropped $15, now they're $105) have lasted the longest:

Japanese girls seem to love these. I often see them wearing giant shoes/boots and teeny-tiny little skirts. Must be an animé thing.

They're dance shoes so they shouldn't be too bad as far as comfort.
I think I like them because I've always wanted to meet a girl dressed like this...

I fixed it. Are you still not able to get it? Not sure if it's a pic you would be too interested in though.

That looks unnatural.

And she looks like she's about to fall out/spill out of that dress.
