Conversion from Scalar Eq. to Vector Eq.

Hey,

I have a quick question:

How can one convert a Scalar Equation of a line (ie. 2x+5y-26=0) to a Vector equation (ie. r = (2,3)+t(1,2) )

Can you guys help me out?
