Clearing out redirects?

I took a look in the Math & Science Tutorials forum and I noticed that there are a lot of re-directs. As I have seen them being removed in the past after a certain period of time, I would like to ask if there is a pre-defined time which after that has passed, you remove them?

We don't have a set policy. I'll go clear them out now.
