email subscriptions to threads

Not to besmirch the amazing job you guys are doing on PF.

The email thread subscriptions are poorly fomatted for readability. At the very least, could quoted text be identified as such? Currently quoted text is indistinguishable from fresh text - there isn't even a whitespace gap.
