Infamous Ladder Problem
So there is a ladder with a pin joint on the left and a roller on the right. The two arms meeting at the top make a 60 degree angle. There is a force P straight down at the top. The middle bar is half way down. The problem wants to know what the shear and bending moments are just above and below the right pin joint that connects the middle bar. Also I need to find the forces which for some reason I am having trouble. Let me know if you guys can help me out.
Thanks Kevin |
