Casio Exilim EX-Z750: worth buying?

I'm afraid of purchasing a digital camera that would peform badly, so I actually had difficult time looking for a suitable one.
It's not the matter of price, it's usability that matters. And camera should be reliable, my all means.
Now that EX-Z850 is out, it's possible to get a refurbished 7-mexapixel "outdated" EX-Z750.
So, are there any happy owners here?
If yes, would you mind answering a couple of questions:
1. Are YOU satisfied with you choice?
2. Has it delivered the way Casio promised?
3. Are you looking for a new camera? If yes, then why?
eBay has plenty of offers in EU zone (means less shipping charges and taxes), but I never owned a digital camera feel a bit nervous about purchasing online.

Thanks for answering! I will take time to thank everyone privately for contributing posts.
