Good DE book?

Would Differential Equations by Polking (1e) be a good book from which to teach one's self differential equations? If not, which book would be advisable?

P.S. sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum, I'm not sure the 'science book reviews' subform in 'academic and career guidance' would be the right place for this...
