Question

Comparing empirical distributions

I have collected samples from several wireless experiments and have constructed histograms for each. I want to statistically compare the various distributions and assess the significance level of the differences observed(basic hypothesis test). I have read a little about likelihood ratio tests but don't know how to estimate the significance of the lrt statistic; any help is appreciated. Also is there a better method to use?
