How is the maxwell-boltzman distribution comparable to canonical distribution?
1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
From here it seems that one can derive the Maxwell–Boltzmann distribution from the Boltzmann distribution. How would you go about doing that? Can you go the other direction? What are the similarities and differences between the two distributions? |
