Quantum Information Science

I'm doing a project in quantum information science (QIS). One requirement is to specify the safety precaution a scientist in this field would take when experimenting. QIS scientists use photonics equipment. I have searched the internet only to find nothing that is of use. I have gotten pretty close to finding something, but to my dismay that something turned out to be nothing.
I have therefore been induced to resort to guessing.I have guessed the following " The safety precautions taken to prevent any harm to those doing the experiment from the reactions from the experiment are many. For example, to prevent fire, fire resistant materials is used. To prevent a fire from getting out of hand, a fire extinguisher is kept close by. Also, glasses are worn by QIS scientists to prevent optical damage from the photonics instruments. "
I have made attempts to use many uneccesary fill-in words to waste space (I am naughty, I know but not always ). But the problem is that the reasons have to fill half of an 8 x 11 in page. I have consumed half of that amount.(The other half is dedicated to the equipment needed, BTW) If anyone can think of anything that may help, I would appreciate it.

THANK YOU!
