Gyroscopes help

I am a first year engineering student, and i cant understand a danm thing in gyroscoped.
Our textbook is Kleppner and kolenkow.
Could enyone suggest me some good readings on he net, some ebooks or some articles.
I want to understand the theory behind the precessions and not the mathematics behind it as it is done in Kleppner.
