1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

I'm creating a Free Body Diagram for an excavator based on the information seen on the picture below:



The only information given is Gw and the displayed dimensions. All calculations are done symbolically. In the first question I need to find the cylinder force FI and the reactions in H_x and H_y. I have done this without problems. However I run into problems in the second question where I need to find the cylinder force BG and the reactions D_x and D_y.

2. The attempt at a solution

I have isolated the arm DH and drawed all forces acting on it. However I'm having trouble finding the angles around BG that I think I need for the solution. Do you see any way to solve this problem?
