Complex power series

Hi all,
I have a little question about power series of complex variables. If we are asked to get the power series of some complex variable function f(z), is there a difference in the process of doing so, compared to when we do it for a real valued function? (Does the formula for the coefficients an remain the same? Do we have to take extra considerations into account when dealing with complex variable power series?)
