What is fuzzy logic? Why would we want to make logic fuzzy? Applications-uses? Criticisms? Basically any thioughts on the subject - kindly post here
The discussion centers on fuzzy logic, exploring its definition, applications, strengths, and criticisms. Participants raise questions about the nature of fuzzy logic, its utility in handling vague categories and imperfect data, and its relationship to other logical systems.
Participants express a range of views on the strengths and weaknesses of fuzzy logic, with no consensus on its completeness or applicability across all contexts. The discussion includes both supportive and critical perspectives on fuzzy logic and related systems.
Limitations include the unresolved nature of the relationship between fuzzy logic and other logical systems, as well as the implications of Gödel's theorem and context sensitivity in formal logic.

As useful as these systems are, they still fall short of a complete one. It seems it might be impossible to construct a complete logical system that would meet all needs. Call me old-fashioned, but I feel somehow this is not right. Shouldn't we be able to come up with something?
