Good job Edward.

Hints should be obvious. The source was private, not on the net.

That appears to be correct.... Unfortunately I don't have anything to post except a picture of a pile of rocks in my back yard.

Yes it is, as I posted shortly before you.

Anyway, the barrel here is far from empty, so I'm glad to help out

You got it, well done,

The name of the river is IJssel (we use the I and J combination as a sort of Y, so both go in capitals. The name of the city associated is Zwolle. So IJssel bridges near Zwolle. And the brand new red bridge is known as the Hanzebrug.

And indeed I made those pics myself.

You may proceed Andre. It is that time of day on the left coast of America.

Beat me to it. I had found the place - nice photo from another point of view - but the annoying guy (wasn't you? ) doesn't say where it is. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22912005@N06/5005715578/

Actually yes, the water was rather high and there was no way to get my pix in without stepping in the water. This was my location (paste in google-earth or google maps) 5229'55.95"N 63'28.30"E

Anyway no hints here yet for the next landmark:
