Hmmm... Lovers Arch, Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick, Canada?
That's it. There have been many thousands of pictures taken from that vantage point on the stairway down to the gorge.

Oops! Sorry for jumping the gun on that one, I should have waited for confirmation. That's a pretty clean sweep, Borek, even getting the one I put up prematurely! I guess we'll have to wait for you to get back to see the next installment, take your time...

Yep, that's why I chose it, because if you correctly guess it's a nuclear power plant you can track it down using searches for "nuclear tits" or "nuclear boobs". Though I don't know if that's how Borek did it...

That it is nuclear power plant was obvious, I was lucky to get it googling and following links just for "nuclear plants" search, although I was very close to mistake it for Donald C. Cook.

Re: Forum Game - Where's That Landmark?

Nope, not Alhambra, but a good guess from the architecture. It IS a named building, though and its name ends in an "a". One of my favorite artists wrote a beautiful song about the house.

Victorian gothic say 1870-1890, so if it's in the USA it will be on the east coast.

You're very good - it is a famous house built by a famous man in the early part of your date range.

Re: Forum Game - Where's That Landmark?

The man who built the house was a famous artist, and he sold one of his paintings for the highest price ever paid to a living artist, at the time. He traveled widely.
