Tried the two islands that I wasn't familiar with and no luck. The building actually looks familiar such that I feel like I've been there and seen it.

That's it, indeed. Nice solve.

The music is "Die Moldau" by the Czechian Bedrich Smetana (original Vltava), and the conductor is Herbert von Karajan, who is Austrian, where the mother tongue is german. In German the country name Moldova is also translated to Moldau.

Edit adding: Googling symphonic poem about a river would also have brought up the music as first hit, including:

The piece is sometimes referred to as "MOLDAU" - the river's German name.

I figured as much. That definitely has higher priority.
It should be pretty easy to solve at this point so I'll wait a few days before posting any other clues.
