Forum Game - Where's That Landmark?

Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, Australia would be my guess.

Oh no FuzzyFelt! It has to be Gould playing Bach for mathematical contemplation.

Neither. I'm not sure what caused the jagged appearance, and Whitehaven Beach is a nice idea too.

I'd thought lounge music fitted contemplative journeys well, but accept there are better based imaginings of quarterdeck cogitation. :)

While Whitehaven Beach, Whitsunday Island, is really nice, the landmark is rated as better, but not by a mile.

Since this is a Physics forum I'm going to assume it has a link to said subject and have a "blast" at Bikini atoll lagoon.

That looks much more like it! :)

The Marshallese (Bikini Atoll) memorised stick charts of ocean swells for way-finding, and different means like this were used all around these parts. Some are named for a person from imperial history, and the specific landmark lies within them.

You know that this is going to get solved very quickly? Even if you didn't link directly to an image with the solution in its name, it's the first hit in a reverse image search.

I did not know that Borg! One can only hope that people play in the spirit of the game, but your honesty is commendable, so please feel free to answer if you wish.

P.S How do you post an image URL without revealing its source?

One thing you can do is download it, then upload it from your computer. Use tinypic or ImageShack or some such service.

I often do this when I want to change the pic size, or perform obfuscation .
