antennas + beam solid angle calculation
Im aware that determining the beam solid angle involves integrating the normalised power pattern over a sphere using the azimuth and polar angle values as integral limits.
Out of curiosity, how come we integrate the power pattern and not the e-field pattern ? Is this because the normalised power pattern calculates power per unit area ? |
