Discussion Overview

The discussion centers around participants seeking collaboration for research projects, with a focus on topics that stimulate intellectual engagement. The scope includes informal research partnerships, potential areas of study such as black holes and cosmology, and the challenges faced by individuals with varying levels of mathematical proficiency.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Conceptual clarification, Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant expresses a desire for a research partner due to challenges with mathematics, indicating a willingness to learn.
  • Another participant inquires about the specific type of research being proposed.
  • A participant suggests a general interest in research topics that keep the mind engaged, mentioning black holes and the end of the universe as potential areas of focus.
  • Several participants express interest in collaborating but emphasize the need to understand the research topic before committing.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants generally agree on the desire for collaboration but have not reached a consensus on specific research topics or the nature of the projects.

Contextual Notes

Participants have not defined the parameters of the research or clarified the specific mathematical skills required, leaving some assumptions unresolved.

Who May Find This Useful

Individuals interested in collaborative research, particularly in theoretical physics or cosmology, may find this discussion relevant.

I am looking for someone that will do "research" with me, I would do it alone ,but my mathematics are not the greatest.:smile:I am learning though!

What kind of "research"?

If your subject of "research" interests me, then yes, i will join you.

Not really sure of what kind of research, but anything you would like to do, as long it keeps my mind busy. May be stuff on black holes, or the end of the universe.

Turtle, I would be more than happy to do research with you. If you would like to work with me, just foward a private message to me.

...and me too!(I'd like to participate, so pm me about this as well)

Like some that have posted earlier, I would have to know what it is that you are doing research on, before agreeing to join you.
